Managing Principal Broker

I began my real estate journey in January 2001 through a path that was anything but conventional. Alongside my sister, we discovered a niche within the industry—REO (Real Estate Owned) asset management. We worked directly with national banks, government housing agencies, and asset servicing companies across the country, managing thousands of distressed properties over the course of 16 years.

Operating in the world of defaulted and compromised assets is far from traditional real estate. It required deep knowledge of foreclosure laws at the federal, state, and local levels, and a hands-on, all-in approach. Our team, which ranged from five to ten professionals at any given time, handled every aspect of REO—from initial occupancy checks and property evaluations to negotiating “cash for keys,” coordinating trash-outs, and overseeing full property rehabilitations to restore homes to market value.

This experience shaped me into a well-rounded housing professional: an expert in broker price opinions, a knowledgeable guide for homeowners navigating difficult circumstances, and a reliable asset to our clients, always acting within their strict guidelines. I learned to see value where others saw loss, and to bring dignity and compassion to a process often marked by stress and uncertainty.

Before real estate, I spent 15 years in the fashion industry and 8 years as a senior event specialist in Miami and with The Walt Disney World Corporation. Today, I proudly serve as the Managing Principal Broker for (w)here real estate—a role I’ve held for the past eight years. It’s an honor to lead and mentor a remarkable team of brokers as they bring skill, creativity, and integrity to every transaction.

Outside of work, I’m simply a mom of two wonderful adult children, a grandma to two beautiful grandboys, and a proud dog mom to one scrappy pup. Nature is where I recharge—often on my e-bike, earbuds in, soaking up music and the magic of the outdoors. I’m endlessly grateful for all the life lessons my real estate career has given me—and the opportunity to serve others with heart and purpose.
