Jackie Carle is a Portland native and current student at New York University, where she plans to study the intersection of business, real estate, and design while competing on the NYU volleyball team. In addition to her studies at NYU, Jackie is enrolled at the New York School of Interior Design, where she is further exploring her passion for the built environment and experiential spaces. Prior to transferring to New York, Jackie completed her first year at Washington State University, where she played Division I volleyball.

This summer, Jackie joins (w)here inc. as a Real Estate Intern, supporting the team through market research, creative projects, and learning more about Portland’s evolving real estate market. After spending her early childhood years living in London and Amsterdam before returning to Portland, Jackie developed an appreciation for how cities, hospitality, and thoughtfully designed spaces shape culture, connection, and experience — fueling her interest in the intersection of experiential design, business, and development.

Outside of work, Jackie enjoys yoga, travel, fashion, and exploring Portland’s food scene. She brings curiosity, creativity, and a collaborative mindset to her work and is excited to learn from the (w)here team this summer.
