Real estate runs in Marilyn’s blood. She grew up in the business, working alongside her family at Larry Brown Inc., a well-respected Portland-based home building and land development firm that built custom homes for over 55 years. This deep-rooted foundation gives her clients a distinct advantage, especially when evaluating properties with remodeling potential, unique construction features, or land development possibilities.

In addition to residential real estate, Marilyn has experience in commercial property management, as her family owns and operates apartments and office buildings. A native Oregonian, Marilyn returned to Portland after graduating from Santa Clara University. Outside of work, she loves to cook, exercise, and soak up every bit of sunshine she can find—especially at the beach. She and her husband Lee are proud parents of two grown children. 123
