Catie Dice
Intern
Catie Dice is a Portland native and current student at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., where she’s majoring in Psychology with minors in Public Health and Business Administration. A natural connector, Catie is passionate about understanding people–what inspires them, what motivates them, and how to bring them together–fueling her interest in applying psychology to business settings like real estate.
This summer, she joins (w)here inc. as a Marketing Intern & Broker Liaison, where she is working on developing and organizing internal resources to streamline operations and support broker efficiency, designing marketing campaigns, and brainstorming innovative ways to activate community involvement in Portland’s vibrant neighborhoods. She brings a strong background in entrepreneurship, tech, and media having interned at startups like Shanda Studio, a podcasting platform, and Cerca Dating, a modern dating app, through her involvement with Georgetown Ventures, the university’s student-run startup accelerator.
Catie is an energy-giver who thrives on creativity, curiosity, and being present. She’s inspired by Portland’s commitment to activity and engagement–whether it’s hiking and swimming in waterfalls at the Gorge, running on the city’s iconic bridges, enjoying a plate of pasta downtown, or buying way too many thriller novels at Powell’s. She believes in the power of local businesses to shape community identity and is excited to support that mission through her work at (w)here inc.
Known for her strong communication skills, love for public speaking, and eye for design, Catie approaches every challenge with humility, enthusiasm, and a drive to make things more engaging, inclusive, and impactful.
